AbstractRegularExpressionMethodPointcut.Matches(MethodInfo, Type) Method

Does the supplied method satisfy this matcher?

[Visual Basic]
Public Overrides Overloads Sub Matches( _
   ByVal method As MethodInfo, _
   ByVal targetType As Type _
) _
    Implements IMethodMatcher.Matches
public override bool Matches(
   MethodInfo method,
   Type targetType

The candidate method.
The target Type (may be a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), in which case the candidate Type must be taken to be the method's declaring class).

Return Value

true if this this method matches statically.

Try to match the regular expression against the fully qualified name of the method's declaring Type, plus the name of the supplied method.

Note that the declaring Type is that Type that originally declared the method, not necessarily the Type that is currently exposing it. For example, Equals matches any subclass of Object's Equals method.
